Why this exists

We lost a pet, made twenty phone calls, and got twenty different answers.

When our pet passed, we expected to grieve. We didn't expect to spend the next forty-eight hours reading websites that hid prices, getting transferred between voicemails, and trying to figure out whether “individual cremation” meant the same thing at every facility (it didn't).

We wanted one place to understand the questions to ask: whether pickup is available, who performs the cremation, how a pet is identified, and which ashes are returned. Those answers can differ by provider, so our guides help families confirm them directly.

We don't take money from providers to be listed. We don't take money to rank them higher. We don't earn affiliate fees on cremation services. City coverage and published prices are shown only when each claim has its own current source on file.
